SO MANY MOUNTAINS BUT THIS ONE SPECIFICALLYPosted BY JORDAN ON November 10th, 2012
I went to a really great reading/book release for Junior Clemons‘ “So Many Mountains But This One Spefically” at Carville Annex last week, in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset. Carville Annex is a lecture space with artist’s studios on the second floor and a storefront below, where you can rent books as a part of their “Bookshelf Project.” All the books are recommend by former lecturers, neighborhood staples, and pals in general—it’s a really rad way to refresh your reading list/connect with your community. More on that here. Anyhow, about the reading! This is Carville Annex’s first book published, and it’s really beautiful (both to read and to look at). Junior’s always been a favorite poet of mine, and it was great to hear these pieces aloud. I highly recommend grabbing a copy from Carville’s site, or swinging by the storefront if you’re in SF!
