WILDCRAFT STUDIO SCHOOLPosted BY JENNY JAMES ON September 10th, 2013
An hour and a half from Portland is a place where farming meets art. Where craft meets design. Where adults can go to roll in the grass and make tie-dyed silk scarves with the dye they just made from the grass on which they just rolled. This place is called WildCraft Studio School. Self-described as an “experiment in integration,” WildCraft exists to weave art into everyday life, and flowers into every textile.
The studio offers workshops for screenprinting, textile design, weaving, mushroom foraging, and fabric dying. The garden and grounds look like reason enough to stop by, but every workshop sounds fun and useful too. Can’t wait for mushroom hunting class in October.
